Yes, there's a reason behind this obsession, and a bit of a history as well. When I first got into Dir en grey I actually had a rather secure fanship for Kaoru. However, the more notice I took of Shinya, the more Kaoru began to slip on his place at number one. Eventually, Kaoru fell, and Shinya climbed to the top of the pedistal. This happened because I found that here was a young, and very talented musician who gets very little attention and is constantly overshadowed by the other band members. I usually have a tendency to steer toward the ones who get very little attention. The fact that he still hasn't been completely figured out, keeping a number of fans guessing, just drew me to him. He has the capability to leave very many people, including myself, completely baffled. His complex personality, not to mention his talent (yes, I do believe he has talent) securely mounted him on a pedistal in my eyes, and my fanship for him is forever growing.
